GETTING TO KNOW THE PRODUCT
What are Wearables?
Wearables are smart devices designed to make your everyday life easier through passive NFC technology. As high-performance wearable devices, they connect with features from our partner companies — letting you make contactless payments and manage your credentials quickly and securely.
Beyond financial transactions, Wearables open up a whole new world of possibilities for your daily routine, offering versatile solutions like access control and task automation. And all of this comes wrapped in a sleek, minimalist design that brings practicality, discretion, and a touch of style to your lifestyle.
Key Features:
- Tap-to-Pay Transactions: Make payments instantly — no need to pull out your phone or carry extra cards. Just tap and go! Transaction limits without PIN entry follow the current security protocols for contactless technology.
- Global Interoperability: Fully compatible with any contactless-enabled reader terminal — wherever you are in the world.
What is NFC Technology?
NFC stands for Near Field Communication — it's a short-range wireless technology thatCMS works within just a few inches. Because it requires physical closeness to work, it keeps your information extra safe.
What are the benefits of using Wearables?
- Convenience: Just tap your accessory to pay — that's it!
- Security: Safer than traditional payment methods;
- No phone needed: Once it's set up, your Wearable works completely on its own;
- No charging, no battery — ever.
Who can use the Wearable?
Only customers with Inter credit card can connect the wearable to their credit card.
How to get a wearable?
Currently we are giving wearables to selected customers, activate your credit card and use your account so that you become elegible to a wearable.
Soon we will make it available to purchase the wearable.
I do not have a credit card? What now?
Unfortunally the wearables can only work as a payment method linked to the credit card. Use your inter account to improve your credit score and be elegible to get a wearable.
COMPATIBILITY & REQUIREMENTS
Are Wearables compatible with all phones?
Not quite. Your smartphone needs to have NFC enabled to work with your Wearable.
How do I check if my iPhone has NFC?
Android (steps may vary depending on your phone brand):
- Samsung: Settings → Connections → NFC
- Xiaomi/Redmi/POCO: Settings → Connection & Sharing → NFC
- Google Pixel: Settings → Connected Devices → NFC
- Motorola / LG / Huawei: Search for "NFC" in your Settings
iOS: All models starting from iPhone 6 (2014) have NFC automatically enabled. No setup required.
On iPhone 17+ the NFC is located on the top left corner next to the câmera
Compatible with iOS 16.0 or later and Android 8.0 or later (subject to change).
Heads up: If you can't find the NFC option following these steps, your specific phone model may not support this technology. Unfortunately, in that case, you won't be able to use Inter Wearables, since they rely entirely on NFC to work.
Compatible with iOS 16.0 or later and Android 8.0 or later. The process described is subject to updates at any time, based on the evolution of features or devices.
